The Airborne factory is a Civil Aviation Safety Authority Approved Facility and we design and manufacture our products from the ground up. Our quality control system is CASA audited. Our approved QA manual was written in house and we are told a benchmark for other aircraft manufacturers. Our CASA approved product manuals, including pilot operating handbooks, maintenance manuals and illustrated parts catologues are produced and published in house. Airborne was instrumental in helping the USA FAA get their own Light Sport Standard up and running. The Australian standard CAO95.32 was written by Airborne and with only a change to the title was adopted by CASA as their official standard for the type. Load testing has been par for the course for Airborne since we started manufacturing aircraft in the mid 80's. The difference these days is we test to specific Civil Aviation standards for the various countries we trade with. We have gained certification in Australia, United Kingdom, the USA and we comply with French and German standards. This covers us for all other countries we sell to. All structural parts are load tested from complete wings and rolling vehicles to smaller components including wires and structural tubes. The business operates using Visual Enterprise Software:

We designed our intranet to interface with Visual. This allows us to monitor any area of the business from any computer in house. We can track customer orders, pull up working drawings and easily maintain the information of our customers, suppliers and more than 10,000 parts that go into manufacturing our products.
