Magni M16 Agri

M16 Agri is fitted with agricultural sprayer.

Besides a general lightening and a different and better centring, the base model has been upgraded with new cooling and lubrication systems. Thus, in order to ensure optimum operating temperature in all conditions, a special heat exchanger has been introduced together with a new coolant radiator and a thermal expansion valve. As a result, the pre-takeoff phase needs shorter warming up times and the operating temperatures remain in the green arc.

The instrument system has been upgraded too: in addition to the usual altimeter, air-speed indicator, digital rotor rev counter and electrical fuel level gauge, the M16 TANDEM TRAINER comes with the latest version of the new Flydat Rotax, a unique digital instrument displaying 9 engine parameters simultaneously (oil pressure, oil temperature, CHT, 4 EGT, engine rpm, Hour Meter). A large number of useful emergency/control warning lights are connected to the instrument system, providing information on the rotor brake, exhaust trim, low fuel level, and battery recharge. M16 models with Rotax 914 engine feature warning and danger indicators too. The well designed instrument layout and the large instrument panel will meet the needs of those pilots requiring more complete flight instruments (see GPS devices or other flight instruments).

Ground operations have been upgraded too by introducing a front control lock device for preventing the accidental engagement of the pre-rotor.

As the previous versions, the M16 2006 model comes with front seat padding featuring a rear document holder, electric trim, PTT on front control stick, and a 72 litre fuel tank that gives this gyroplane a remarkable maximum range.
The M16 2006 can be fitted with 100-HP Rotax 912 ULS (featuring slipping clutch, airbox, carburetor heat and its relative electric instrument in the cockpit) or 115-HP turbocharged Rotax 914 (coming with fuel pressure indicator). Thus the M16 2006 gyroplane maintains the building characteristics of its previous version while meeting pilots’ new needs in both their sport activities and work or training purposes.

The M16 2006 also offers a range of options so as to meet the needs of a greater number of pilots. So, additional comfort for the rear seat is provided through seat padding and a rear windscreen well harmonized with the fuselage design, as well as a small glove box. Also available are a 20 litre carrier and, for training purposes, electric trim control in the rear seat area.
